One member of our family who is definitely not a fan of this snow and ice is our pug, George. He does not like the way his feet slip and slide on the icy sidewalks, and he actually fell down while walking with Chapin early yesterday morning. But, fortunately, we found a patch of dry sidewalk on our walk today so he could more easily go to the bathroom. I could almost sense his relief when his paws touched actual sidewalk. It was funny!

Yesterday, Chapin tried to drive to the grocery store, but had to come back, so we ended up walking the four blocks together. We are well stocked on food for the rest of the week, but I feel confident I will be able to get to the office tomorrow. Chapin actually drove to his office today.
