Punk Out

Dress: Rebecca Taylor Two Toned Crepe Colorblocked Dress with Studded Collar

This dress is super comfortable, and the color blocking and beige lines help you look more slender. Plus, I love the punk inspired surprise of the studs at the collar.

Rebecca Taylor is a brand I associate with curve hugging silhouettes, and this dress is no exception. Beware if you are buying Rebecca Taylor for the first time; dresses tend to run on the small size, so if you are between sizes like me, size up.

Celebrity Sighting!
Tina (played by Jenna Ushkowitz) wore the dress on Season 5 of Glee. Tina added a more dramatic collar, but I prefer the collar as it appears on the dress. Other celebrity fans of the brand include Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy!) and Kaley Cuoco from The Big Bang Theory.

Revolve Clothing still has the dress in a size 6, but it seems to be sold out everywhere else. This other Rebecca Taylor dress, however, is very similar, and has very cute, very flattering cap sleeves: Rebecca Taylor Piped Cap Sleeve Dress. This particular dress is available at 6pm and Amazon.

Shoes: Pour La Victoire Carmendy Cap Toe T-Strap Pumps

I debated whether to wear the dress with booties or pumps, but ultimately, these pumps won out. Neiman Marcus Last Call still has a few sizes left in the same color. Amazon is also carrying the shoes, in just a few sizes, in the very chic black with a gold cap toe.

I'm actually wearing the first pair of Pour La Victoire pumps I ever purchased; I'm a newer fan of the brand. You can find some really chic, really reasonably priced shoes, so I recommend you check out Pour La Victoire if you haven't before. Last year, actress Cameron Diaz was even named artistic director, and she has a great sense of style. Happy shopping, and don't forget to follow me on Instagram: @everydayfashionistablog.
