I love social media! It puts us in touch not only with our friends and loved ones, but with people we admire and strive to emulate (from a distance). Sometimes, those individuals will reach back out to their fans, and over the years I've had dialogues with authors (Emily Giffin, Liane Moriarty), models (Paulina Porizkova responded to a comment I left on one of her posts), TV actors (
Caroline in the City's Eric Lutes follows me), but never have I been so excited about an interaction with a celebrity.
Sarah Jessica Parker left a comment on my last post. Yes, the iconic SJP, whom I have loved since I was a girl watching
Girls Just Want to Have Fun, and later as a woman watching
Sex and the City, knows I exist in this world.
That was enough to make my day... my year!
