Yes, I'm wearing another Milly dress today! This "windowpane" bodycon dress is perfect for showing off your curves, with the print tightening up in the mid-section to give the illusion of a small waist. It's also rather appropriate for this time of year; it reminds me of a giant spiderweb. Halloween is just days away, after all!

More Milly
I realized today that I own a lot of clothes from the Milly brand -- even ones I forgot I ever bought!
This dress, for example, has been sitting in my closet for years, so since it was 80 degrees in Atlanta today, I thought it might be my last chance to wear it for awhile. It's really a summer dress, but it still feels summery to me!

Finally Feeling Like Fall
The weather has turned cooler here in Atlanta, so long-sleeve dresses are back on the menu!
Today's dress is a shift dress; it's designed to just hang on the body, so it doesn't do much for the figure if you happen to be curvy like me.
Milly did make an effort with other elements here, though. I especially like the puff sleeves -- and the fact that they are long -- and the velvet leopard print. Plus, the best thing about a shift dress is that it's very comfortable. You don't have to worry about your "wobbly bits" showing and you can leave the Spanx at home.
I also had fun doing my makeup. A dark eye and light lip is one of my favorite makeup combinations. I didn't use blush, either. I just added a little bronzer on my cheekbones.

Dress: Milly Lylah Blouson Sleeve Velvet Leopard Dress
Shoes: Jimmy Choo Emily Crisscross Platform Sandals (no longer available)
I really debated what shoes to wear here. Since the dress isn't altogether flattering, I wanted to put the emphasis on my legs. The best way to elongate the legs is to wear a light or neutral colored shoe, so I went with these metallic colored Jimmy Choo sandals.

Oh Linen
I don't know why I do it. I know linen wrinkles the minute you sit down, and I have pretty much avoided it of late, but I loved this BCBGMaxAzria design so much, I thought I'd take a chance.
Oh, linen, you failed me again.
At least it's pretty!

Navy Pink
Milly has definitely become my favorite brand of late, with so many flattering pieces making their way onto the (sale) rack. Milly is especially skilled at creating curve-hugging bodycon dresses like the one I'm wearing today, made unique with different color combinations like navy and pink or little details like the scalloped cutout design.
