May Dresses and Tulip, Too

Here are a few dresses I wore throughout the month of May. Tulip and I both celebrate a birthday this month, so I'm including a few shots of her in her party dress as well. She just turned six! I, on the other hand, just celebrated turning 46. How am I that old?!

How could I resist wearing a dress with a tulip floral pattern on Mother's Day? I'm a dog momma, after all. Chapin and I took my mom and dad out to UP on the Roof in Alpharetta -- such a fun meal.

Star Wars Day and Dinner Out

Dinner out on April 30th with my new running friend, Jacque, called for a casual yet fun dress. Enter LoveShackFancy! The dresses in style these days are so short, though. I hope I'm not getting too old to wear them. I'll be 46 in just a few days. Eeek!

These particular sandals are no longer available, but you can find the Vanessa style in a variety of butterfly versions.

Chapin and I also went out for Star Wars trivia on May 4th -- May the Fourth Be With You! I ordered this droid dress from HerUniverse.com for the occasion -- although it didn't bring us much luck. We were in second place going into the final question and then completely blew it! Oh well!

It's super weird to see me in a dress and flats, but you can't go to a pizza place like MTH Pizza in heels!
