Plum Idea

You know you're getting old when you stay out too late -- just by a few hours -- and it takes DAYS to recover. I didn't go to bed until past midnight on Saturday night, as I was attending the Man and Woman of the Year Gala with a colleague. The next day... I suffered. Today, I'm still looking tired. Getting old really is the worst!

I love the ruffles at the shoulders and hem. The dress is feminine but still stylish.

Here are a few photos from the gala on Saturday night. It was a great event, with almost $2.4 million raised to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). I even won a silent auction bid for a bag of pet goodies! The event was black tie, so it was fun to get dressed up. I chose an Alice + Olivia dress -- the Alice and Olivia McKee Mock-Neck Tiered Printed Satin Maxi Dress -- for the occasion.
