It's Valentine's Day, the perfect excuse to wear red or pink (or both) and shower your loved ones with kisses. Chapin and the pugs will surely be getting a lot of attention tonight.
I am just a little in love with today's dress. It's not only the perfect Valentine's Day dress, but it has so many of my favorites features:
- Puffed sleeves
- Nipped in waist accented by a belt
- Square neckline
- Fun polka dot pattern

Dress: Rebecca Vallance Midnight Kiss Midi Dress
I'm wearing my first dress from the Rebecca Vallance brand. It's not an American brand, so be careful with the sizing. I'm wearing a Size 6, which is a US Size 2. Many European brands run small, so I was worried about the dress not fitting, but it's pretty perfect.

The dress comes in other versions as well. There is a version that I would not wear to work and a long sleeved version with a shorter and tighter skirt and a deep v-neck. I felt the version I chose, the midi-dress, could work for a variety of occasions and would not make me feel uncomfortable.
I really love the belt on this dress and I'm excited that belted dresses seem to be making a comeback. They were heavily featured in Carolina Herrera's recent runway show (2023 Fall Ready to Wear), for example. I was in awe of that collection.
