Back to Sweater Weather

I spoke too soon! March is such an unpredictable month, and today it's both rainy and cold in Atlanta. But at least it gives me a chance to wear this chic sweater dress from Ted Baker.

I was probably most drawn to the vibrant blue color. It's an absolutely stunning shade of blue that goes very well with my eyes and hair.

The dress does have some design flaws, though. The long bell sleeves tend to roll up, and the large skirt, made of a satin-like material, easily wrinkles. (Some people have complained that the skirt is a little too full -- but I actually like that! Drama in a dress is never a bad thing.)

The zipper in the back also weighs down the high neck, causing it to widen or even flop forward.

Other than that, though, it's a beautiful and comfortable winter dress, complete with pockets. It will work well on so many different body types, too, cinching you in at the waist and masking issues in the lower body.

The dress is still available, but the blue color is sold out. Find it in colors like green and deep purple on sites like Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's.

Shoes: SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker Trinity Embellished Buckle Pumps

I think of these shoes as my Cinderella shoes. It's probably the closest I'll ever come to wearing a glass slipper! These exact SJP shoes are no longer available, but check out the similar Abute style on the SJP shoes website.
