Suddenly Fall

Today was the first day I truly realized that the season of tank tops and flip-flops has come to an end. It was actually chilly this morning, and I am wearing long(ish) sleeves!

Groovy Kind of Love

Today I look extremely exhausted, which is a combination of staying up too late, drinking Merlot and not enough water, and skipping my morning workout. Oh well! I am so glad it's Friday and that I can sleep in tomorrow.

I am wearing blue today, since I absolutely love this color, and this Chequer dress is extremely comfortable. I remember buying this dress in the store, and since Chequer is an internal brand at Bloomingdale's, not all of their designs end up showing up on the website. The point is: sometimes you just need to go shopping at an actual retail store! Although I do about 85% of my shopping online, occasionally I will go to a mall or outlet.

I am also wearing my L.A.M.B. Women's Darek Cross Stitch Sandals. These shoes are fabulous, but have four-inch heels, and so they are not that comfortable. At least they look great, right?

If Only We Could Sleep

I am exhausted today, probably because I have not been getting enough sleep lately. So, I apologize in advance for the bags under my eyes. The alarm went off as usual, but I turned it right off and went back to sleep. Although I didn't get my workout in, I hope the extra sleep did me some good!

Today I'm in a simple brown Eva Franco dress and BCBGMAXAZRIA Women's Harper Peep Toe Wedges in Dark Taupe.The dress is very comfortable, which was my top objective when choosing my outfit this morning. I went light on the jewelry simply because I was in a rush to get dressed after sleeping in a bit: just my diamond studs and rings.

Lady in Red

In case you couldn't guess from the title of this post, I am dressed in red today. I know that title is pretty cheesy, but I was watching Baby Mama for the 100th time last night, so it seems fitting.

Anyway... I am wearing a red sheath dress from Chequer, paired with black Nine West shoes and my black Michele bag. Chequer, as I may have mentioned before on this blog, is an internal brand at Bloomingdale's, one of my favorite stores. Chequer dresses are always chic and well made, and I especially like this one for its vibrant red color, overall silhouette and inside lining. Unfortunately, I could not find the dress for purchase online, but here are some similar red sheath dresses available now:
