Seeing Things

I certainly did not have the relaxing weekend with my boys that I had planned. When I went to bed this past Friday night, my eye was bothering me, and the pain became increasingly worse throughout the night. Early Saturday morning, I was diagnosed with an eye ulcer in my left eye. It's my first one. I hope I never have one again.

The punishment is that I cannot wear my contacts for at least a few weeks. I have not worn glasses to the office... ever. It's the nerdy 12-year-old girl in me that refuses to be seen in public in eyeglasses. Hopefully they don't look so bad, since I'll be wearing them every single day for a little while.
